Q: My prayer times seem wrong.
A: Go to Settings and check your calculation method. Different regions use different methods:
- MWL (Muslim World League) — Europe, Far East
- ISNA — North America
- Egyptian — Africa, Middle East
- Umm al-Qura — Saudi Arabia, Gulf
- Karachi — South Asia
Also check that the correct Asr school is selected (Shafi'i or Hanafi).
Q: Prayer times don't update.
A: Make sure location permission is granted. Open Settings > Privacy > Location Services and ensure oSalah is set to "While Using the App." If GPS is unavailable, the app uses your last known location.
QIBLA COMPASS
Q: The compass is spinning or inaccurate.
A: Your device's magnetometer may need calibration. Move your phone slowly in a figure-8 pattern several times. Avoid using the compass near metal objects, magnets, or electronic devices.
Q: The compass shows "Unavailable."
A: Some devices or protective cases may interfere with the compass sensor. Remove any magnetic case and try again.
QURAN READER
Q: How do I change the font size?
A: Go to More > Prayer Settings and adjust the Quran font size slider.
Q: How do I switch translations?
A: While reading a surah, tap the language buttons (EN / FR / HA) at the top of the reader. You can also toggle translations on or off with the eye icon.
