ACCEPTANCE
By using Obiverse (the “Service”), including the mobile app, web app, and associated APIs, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
THE SERVICE
Obiverse provides sovereign computing tools: identity management, encrypted communication, digital services marketplace, and Lightning/Bitcoin wallet functionality. The Service connects to the Bitcoin network and Nostr relay network via open protocols.
SELF-CUSTODY
You control your keys. Your mnemonic seed phrase and private keys are generated and stored exclusively on your device. Obiverse LLC does not have access to your keys and cannot recover them if lost. You are solely responsible for securing your seed phrase and any funds associated with it.
NO WARRANTY
The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Obiverse LLC does not guarantee uninterrupted access, freedom from errors, or the security of third-party relay networks.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Obiverse LLC is not liable for any loss of funds, data, or access resulting from: lost seed phrases, device failure, relay network outages, Bitcoin network conditions, or unauthorized access to your device.
ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for illegal activities
- Attempt to compromise relay infrastructure or other users
- Reverse-engineer the Service beyond what open-source licenses permit
- Impersonate other identities on the Nostr network
SERVICE FEES
Obiverse may collect optional service fees on Lightning transactions. Fee amounts are disclosed before each transaction and require your explicit approval. Fees are non-refundable once a transaction is broadcast to the network.
Obiverse Studio services (websites, apps, business tools) are priced separately and agreed upon before work begins. Payment terms are specified in individual service agreements.
OPEN SOURCE
Portions of Obiverse are open source. Open-source components are governed by their respective licenses. These terms apply to the Service as a whole, including proprietary components and hosted infrastructure.
TERMINATION
You may stop using the Service at any time. Your Nostr identity and Bitcoin funds exist independently of Obiverse and remain yours. We may suspend access for violations of these terms.
CHANGES
We may update these terms. Changes will be posted at this URL. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States.
